USA. Animation. 3 minutes. Director: Reece Hobbs Parrish. Two robots work together to turn on a light bulb inside a street lamp. First time animator and director, from Pensacola, Florida wanting to help bring light and joy into people's lives through the use of storytelling. Currently a Sophomore at Virginia Tech, and am hoping to have more projects in the future and more stories to tell.
Italy. Thriller. 9 minutes. Director: Piero Cannata. Two screenwriters, a ghost story, the night that goes on. Who will put an end to this? Piero Cannata, screenwriter and director, was born in Palermo in 1974. After attending a course in film and theater directing, he began producing horror and dramatic short films, appreciated and awarded in various international festivals. His works, imbued with a strong pessimism and a melancholy irony, speak of human beings and their weaknesses, but also of hope and desire for redemption.
USA. Documentary. 8 minutes. Director: Jared Jacobsen. An older man describes his endless passion for the game of basketball.
Mexico. Drama. 15 minutes. Director: Jon Aceves . Camila's life and the beginning of memory loss makes her husband Joaquin note that there is something strange in her. They decide to go to the doctor. The news of Alzheimer's disease in Camila is devastating, and becomes increasingly challenging as her condition worsens. Director Jon Aceves is a Film Director, Showrunner and Cinematographer. He is an audiovisual artist with more than 25 years of career, venturing into music, photography and cinema. He has won awards for best director, script, photography, among other awards.
USA. Drama. 8 minutes. Directors: Preston Speight and Hannah Sobieck. “Son” is a film that focuses on finding the strength to forgive and learning to cherish relationships in our lives. Director Preston Speight is a second year student at Stevenson University, majoring in Film and Moving Image.
USA. Animation. 2 minutes. Director: Noah J Cecil. A young child on a mission. Director Noah Cecil is a recent graduate of Central Michigan University graduating with his BFA in animation. During his time at CMU Noah has gained experience as a 2D animator, visual development artist, and story artist. Noah enjoys creating stories that entertain people of any age.
